Biogroup Ⅰ is Ureaplasma urealyticum, which includes serotypes: 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13. Biogroup Ⅱ is Ureaplasma parvum, which includes serotypes: 1, 3, 6, 14. Ureaplasma is a common parasite or commensal in the female lower reproductive tract and one of the important pathogens causing infectious diseases in the genitourinary system. In addition to causing genitourinary tract infections, women with Ureaplasma infection are also very likely to transmit the pathogen to their sexual partners. Ureaplasma infection is also one of the important causes of infertility. If pregnant women are infected with Ureaplasma, it may also lead to premature rupture of membranes, premature delivery, neonatal respiratory distress syndrome, postpartum infection and other adverse pregnancy consequences, which require great attention.
