Epidemiology
Acute respiratory tract infection (ARTI) is a common multiple disease in pediatrics, among which Chlamydia pneumoniae and Mycoplasma pneumoniae infections are common pathogenic bacteria and have certain contagiousness, and can be transmitted through the respiratory tract with droplets. Symptoms are mild, mainly with sore throat, dry cough, and fever, and children of all ages are susceptible. A large amount of data shows that school-age children over 8 years old and young people are the main group infected with Chlamydia pneumoniae, accounting for about 10-20% of community-acquired pneumonia. Elderly patients with low immunity or underlying diseases are also susceptible to this disease. In recent years, the morbidity rate of Chlamydia pneumoniae infection has increased year by year, with the infection rate among preschool and school-age children being higher. Due to the atypical early symptoms and long incubation period of Chlamydia pneumoniae infection, the misdiagnosis and missed diagnosis rates are high in clinical diagnosis, thus delaying the treatment of children
