Bacillus Anthracis Nucleic Acid

Bacillus anthracis is a gram-positive spore-forming bacterium capable of causing zoonotic acute infectious disease, anthrax. According to different routes of infection, anthrax is divided into cutaneous anthrax, gastrointestinal anthrax and pulmonary anthrax. Cutaneous anthrax is the most common, mainly because human contact with the fur and meat of livestock infected by bacillus anthracis. It has a low mortality rate and can be completely cured or even self-healed. People can also be infected with pulmonary anthrax through the respiratory tract, or eat anthrax-infected livestock meat to be infected with gastrointestinal anthrax. Severe infection can cause anthrax meningitis and even death.
