Helicobacter pylori (Hp) is a Gram-negative helical microaerophilic bacterium. Hp has a global infection and is closely related to many upper gastrointestinal diseases. It is an important pathogenic factor for chronic gastritis, gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer, and upper gastrointestinal tumors, and the World Health Organization has classified it as a class I carcinogen.
