Human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) is a glycoprotein secreted by the trophoblast cells of the placenta, which is composed of glycoproteins of α and β dimers. After a few days of fertilization, HCG begins to secrete. With the trophoblast cells produce plenty of HCG, they can be discharged into urine through blood circulation.
